Drive team is the team that controls the robot during competitions. They also are composed of the technician and human player. The Driver controls the robots movements around the field. The controller controls the robots main functions like an intake or shooter. The human player does what the competition requires of them for that year. The human players tasks usually vary by year. The technician works to repair the robot in between matches so that the robot can work at its full potential during each match.
Michael
Driver
Michael's favorite part of drive team is that robot go brrr. He thinks that hippos are bad, and thinks that water game will happen in 2025. Michael thinks that robot go as long as Lauren doesn't break it. He thinks that it is always a controls issue. He believes that Oliver is the most important member of drive team. Michael says that he will crash the robot on purpose. Michael hopes Mr Ahner will not crash the robot. He thinks that Lauren will ruin a match with her hiccups.
Lauren
Controller
Lauren's favorite part about being on drive team is getting to meet/get to know multiple other drive teams from around our district. She thinks that hippos are very cute and incredibly good. Lauren is wondering why there hasn't been a water game. She says that robot go unless Ahner touches it and if the robot breaks when in doubt its a controls issue. Lauren thinks that Mr Ahner is the most important member of drive team. She says that Michael will probably crash the robot and Mr Ahner will crash the robot. She says she will not ruin a match with hiccups.
Oliver
Human Player
Oliver's favorite part of drive team is the high level of competition and energy because of the stakes as well as the strategy necessary in every decision in order to score the most points. His opinions on hippos are impartial, bordering on bad, and he thinks water game will happen in 2036. Oliver says that robot does go and that it is always a controls issue. He thinks that Mr Ahner is the most important member on drive team. Oliver thinks that Michael will only crash the robot on purpose. He thinks Mr Ahner will not crash the robot because it is a controls issue. Oliver thinks Lauren will not ruin a match because of hiccups but will ruin every team meeting.
Ryan
Technician
Ryan's favorite part of drive team is getting to work on the robot. He says that for reasons regarding his position on this drive team and his coach he prefers not to state his opinion on hippos. Ryan wants there to be a water game after he graduates and doesn't have to work on the robot. He says that robot go sometimes when he remembers to turn it on and plug in the battery. He says that surprisingly it has not been a controls issue yet. Ryan thinks the most important person on drive team is the team in general because they need everyone to be able to compete. He believes that Michael will crash the robot and they have tried to make it Micael proof but its pretty tough. He does not think Mr Ahner will crash the robot. Ryan does not think Lauren will ruin a match with her hiccups, he thinks she will ruin several.
